Program Enrollment

To enroll in the Program families will take three steps.

First

All students interested in being part of the Lincoln Theatre program are required to attend the mandatory Information Student Meeting on:

Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm in the Auditorium.

They will be presented with the program; they will learn about the commitment it requires; they will be explained how it must balance with their middle school academics.

Students will need their Chromebooks to sign attendance  with their SMMUSD ID number and school email address in order to receive the link to the electronic Program Application.

Parents are welcome to attend too.  For parents who can not attend, the meeting will be recorded, and a link will be shared if their children did attend the meeting.

Second

Students and families should get familiar with the Program Handbook (download link below.  It will help them decide whether or not, as a family, they can commit to a five-month musical production with a heavy schedule in January.

Third

Lastly, once the decision to apply for the program has been made, families will fill out the Electronic Program Application. It will only be sent to the students who have attended the Information Student Meeting.

Numbers

The Lincoln Theatre program typically receives more applications than available spots.  As much as we wish we could enroll everyone who applies, this is not feasible for various reasons, including supervision, security, and budget.

The enrollment process has been collegially decided by the Production team, the School Administration, and the PTSA.  Applications are reviewed by all parties.

Electronic Application

The application to the program is done online.  The link will be sent to the families of the students who attended the mandatory Information Student Meeting only.
